Sleeping In

For some strange reason I’m still in Manila.

I tell you, it’s more surprising because it’s not really what I had planned to do and not even something that I secretly wanted to do. It just happened that way. It may have been my fault, but I really didn’t hear the wake-up call and so I missed my breakfast again, and as it turns out, my flight as well.

I had never missed a flight before, so I was a little worried that I might have to pay for another ticket or something. But it seems that all is well and I’ll be flying out of here tomorrow night. Everyone I have met over the last couple of days has known that it is my last night in town. It seems that my last night has turned into three last nights and I’m not even sure if the third is technically true either, because I will also have tomorrow night before I leave. I’m just going to stop telling people my travel plans.

I wish I’d gone to Cebu now. I wouldn’t have minded a few extra days by the beach. Manila however is a tad boring after a while. Honestly, I have spent the day wandering around, not sure where to go or what to do. The days are a drag and I’ve finished the episodes of the West Wing that I downloaded before I left. All six of them.

Yet, I have 24 hours left and I’m determined to make the most of it. That means, no more blogging. David out.
